Aint No Mountain High Enough bass tabs
Marvin—Gaye—Ain't No Mountain High Enough.txt
>From jaco_p@earthlink.net
It seems, my former posting of this tune, had a 'minor' flaw in it. If
you weren't comfortably familiar with the song and / or didn't "listen"
to what the bass line was doing, by the time the first chorus came up,
you could very easily be atleast two measures behind! For some, a
bewildering dilemma;^&
Having said that; here's an updated / revised version. This slightly
modified, and perhaps more accurate transcription, should be clear
enough for even an elementary or intermediate level player to follow
along and be 'on time' within a short period. Again, I suggest listening
to the song a 'few' times and follow along without playing. Then, take it
a verse and a chorus at a time...
A short word of Thanks! to Sean, one of my bass students, for pointing
up the 'transcription' flaw and its potential for becoming a frustrating
and completely confusing experience... well, if you could learn to read
music;^)
